The US and EU have sharply reduced military supplies to Ukraine. At the front, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers lack ammunition.
The Ukrainian military at the front lacks ammunition. The fact that Congress has still not approved financial assistance to Ukraine has become a big problem for US President Joe Biden, but especially for the Ukrainian army – recently the United States has reduced the supply of ammunition to Ukraine by more than 30%.
Supplies from European countries have also decreased sharply. In Donbass, the commander of a military unit told France 2 television that last year they received three to four times more shells from the EU. Soldiers fight in a war with no end in sight, in cramped circumstances.
But it’s not just international support that worries Ukrainians. Hundreds of people demonstrated in Kyiv on Thursday demanding more support for the country’s armed forces. They want the Kyiv authorities to prioritize military spending at a time when their family and friends are dying at the front.
