In the energy system of Ukraine on December 11 – the fifth day in a row – there was a power shortage in the electrical network. Once again NEC “Ukrenergo” was forced to attract help from Poland and Romania.
As before, the capacity shortage is explained by insufficient volumes of electricity generation against the backdrop of high demand from consumers. As noted, on December 11, already in the morning, consumption exceeded the predicted level by 2.2%, which is equivalent to the operation of at least 2 additional units of thermal power plants, which is not present.
To maintain the balance and avoid power outages, assistance was brought in from Poland and Romania. It is noted that today Ukraine does not export electricity.
In “Ukrenergo” Once again we are calling for economical use of electricity.
Due to shortages in the energy system, Ukraine for the third time since the beginning of winter was forced to attract emergency assistance with a capacity of 300 MW from Romania and Poland.< /span>
