MAKHACHKALA, May 13. /TASS/. The Armed Forces of Ukraine became active only in certain sectors of the front. This was announced on Saturday by the deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps, commander of the Akhmat special forces Apty Alaudinov.
Earlier, adviser to the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Jan Gagin, said that Ukrainian troops had stepped up along the entire line of contact.
“The troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not activate along the entire line of contact, only in certain areas, and even then the situation did not undergo significant changes,” Alaudinov told TASS.
“The situation in our area is absolutely under control,” Alaudinov added.
Earlier, Alaudinov reported that the area of responsibility of the corps is from Soledar in the DPR to Kremennaya in the LPR.
