On the evening of April 30, the Russian military attacked several regions of Ukraine, there are dead. At about three o’clock, an air raid alert sounded in the country.
As a result of Russian shelling of the Kherson region, a local resident was killed, the regional military administration said. According to them, a 58-year-old woman died on the spot, and a 29-year-old man was injured.
Another person was killed and two were injured as a result of the shelling of Nikopol in the Dnepropetrovsk region, said the head of the military administration, Sergei Lysak. According to him, a 48-year-old local resident died, a 46-year-old woman and an 80-year-old man were injured.
Later, he clarified that during the evening strike on Pavlograd, 34 people were injured, among them an eight-year-old girl, and two women, 45 and 55 years old, are in intensive care. Seven rockets were shot down, how many fell to the ground is not reported.
“An industrial enterprise was damaged in Pavlograd. There was a fire there, which rescuers have already taken control of. In a residential area, 19 high-rise buildings, 25 private houses, six schools and preschool education institutions, five stores were damaged. There is destruction in the communities of the area. Almost 40 residential buildings, two in Yuryevskaya. A school was damaged in Mezhiritskaya,” Lysak wrote.
Explosions occurred in Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk region, said the mayor of the city Anatoly Vershina. In the telegram channel, the city administration asked residents not to go out and stay in safe places. There is no other official information about what happened yet.
According to Dnipro Operative, at 21:30 local time an air raid alert was announced in the region, and half an hour later, explosions in Pavlograd began to be reported on social networks. A fire broke out in the city, presumably, the blow was inflicted on the ammunition depot. In apartments and houses, the closed windows and balcony doors were carried out by the blast wave.
On April 30, the Russian military fired six times at the border communities of the Sumy region. This was reported in the official telegram channel of the regional military administration.
On the night of May 1, a large-scale air alert was announced in Ukraine, danger signals sounded in all regions for more than three hours, UNIAN reports.
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army fired 18 aircraft missiles. Around 02:30 Kh-101 and Kh-555 missiles were launched from nine Tu-95 aircraft from the Murmansk region and two Tu-160 aircraft from the Caspian Sea area. 15 of them were shot down, according to the telegram channel of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and the Air Force of Ukraine.
According to preliminary information, in the airspace of Kyiv, the air defense system destroyed missiles and drones launched from Russia. This is stated in the message of the head of the Kyiv city military administration, Sergei Popko. He claims that the Russian military “attacked in a complex way – simultaneously with cruise missiles and drones.” There is no information about victims and destruction of residential facilities or infrastructure in the Kyiv region.
